ticktalker Posted April 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2012 The 2013 brochure has a number of cruises which offer free coach service to Southampton. Just wondered if the cruise needs to be booked direct with Celebrity, or can it be any travel agent to get this offer.
Rare cruisestitch Posted April 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2012 Which cruises? To Southampton from where? Heathrow? Gatwick? Central London? haven't seen this so would like more information....

If Celebrity is offering free coach service, your TA should be able to book this for you just as they are able to take advantage of other special offers for you. ticktalker Posted April 21, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted April 21, 2012 There seem to be coaches for example, from Glasgow, Carlisle, Edinburgh, and various locations around the UK. The free coach transport to/from the pier is applicable to all 2013 Celebrity Cruises sailings on Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Infinity The coach transport is provided by Intercruises. Rare cruisestitch Posted April 21, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2012 I'm guessing that this is something seen on the UK website, but not on the US website. Do you have a link to share? Would be interested in seeing this offer.

Would be interested in seeing this offer. I have a 2013 UK brochure up to November 2013, and the offer is either free car parking or coach travel, or reduced regional air fares for all cruises departing from Harwich and Southampton. Rare cruisestitch Posted April 21, 2012 #7 Share Posted April 21, 2012 Hmmmm... will have to have the TA check to see if that might be available to US passengers on one of those cruises or if it's only for UK residents. Might be useful....
Lizzyanne Posted April 22, 2012 #8 Share Posted April 22, 2012 You can book through a travel agent, you just need to give Intercruise your booking reference when you phone them. The people there are very friendly and helpful. There is a time limit for claiming the free coach travel so do not leave it too late and best to check where your nearest pickup point is as they can be a distance away. Tony UK Posted April 22, 2012 #10 Share Posted April 22, 2012 On our 2013 cruises we had the option of free coach or free parking but it was time limited and we had to contact intercruise to book by April. Not sure if we would have to pay if we booked later. We have done the coach transfer from the northwest and it was a good option. Luggage went on at pick up and next time we saw it was in our stateroom. Contact Celebrity and ask them what the booking terms are. If there is a cost your TA might throw it in with your booking!
