Podie Posted April 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2012 Just a warning to those of you stopping in Villefranche sur Mer on an MSC cruise - don't assume the tenders will get you to the port in time for you to go to Nice! Our port time was 0700-1400 which was terrible anyway. Tendering didn't start until 0800 and it was 0930 before we got there. There were no taxis at all. I went looking for the #100 bus stop but could only find the #80. A very nice resident tried to help but spoke no English at all so it was difficult to understand. We had to be back on the ship at 1315. So the others in my group were against our going to Nice. There was very little to do in Villefranche. KirkNC Posted April 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2012 I hate tender ports, not because of the tendering but because they seem fraught with potential (or in your case actual) problems.
