Back to Back cruises

How does Disney handle back to back cruises. I've done it on Rccl and it was a breeze. I'm hoping Disney gets good reviews here to. ty

We've only done one B2B, and each one is handled a bit differently, depending on the numbers of people doing the B2B.

For us, we received a notice in our room the night before last on the first leg telling us where to report onboard. There were about 300 of us doing the B2B. Once all the others were disembarked, we were escorted off the ship, thru check-in, and back on the ship (about 30 minutes).

During the time between the cruises, the Cove Cafe was open (for all ages) with snacks/drinks. After the pools were cleaned we could use them. We could access our rooms until they started boarding the new cruisers. At that time, we had to decide if we wanted to stay in our room, or in the public areas until the rooms were ready for everyone.

When we did our B2B on the Dream last summer, we received a note in our room the night before with instructions, we got off the ship on our own in the AM (there was only about 20 of use doing a B2B), went through customs, got back into the terminal, and waited until 11:15 AM, when we asked about when to go back onboard, and got back on board at that time. It wasn't very well organized in the terminal for us, and there was few people to be even able to ask when we could get back onboard. We walked through a side door instead of the Mickey ears. The Cove Cafe was open to all ages but they didn't have much. We weren't hungry anyway.

Apparently you have to disembark by 9am and re-boarding is allowed after 1030 am ... I had a link somewhere re: more info but can't seem to find it ... information supposedly is provided to you the night before re: the whole process ...

We're booked on B2B on the Fantasy and will remain in the same stateroom ... looking forward to it!
