Wasup,

I saw your post on the Alaska thread. You said you were doing an Alaska RV tour. Who is that through and where would I get the information? Sounds like a lot of fun and we love Alaska.

Thanks

Mary

We are using Great Alaskan Holiday RV rental out of Anchorage, they are the best as far as overall deal, they include alot where as other RV rentals do not.

Feel free to email me: wasup254@aol.com, will answer what I can. We leave in 20 days...

I have rented from Great Alaskan Holidays, they were a good company but it's important to purchase the extra insurance, claimed there was damage on my rental and also several others who contacted me. A necessary reference is THE MILEPOST, be certain to get a copy. RV parks need reservations in season. The gas milage stinks, I took the advice on not hauling around full tanks of water, most RV parks have water to fill up and use and dumping available. Overall, I found the travel very isolating and greatly prefer Alaska B&B's with that great contact with locals.
