Food/Drink in Charlottetown

We think Boston's clam chowder is like no other.

The closest we have had to it elsewhere was in Pinnacles when they used to serve Northwestt Chowder. It was very thick, loaded with clams and like what we are used to.

 

I think I have Pinnacle's recipe but it is so full of fat and calories, I have not (yet) :) made it.

 

Chowder is delicious.

 

 

I wish the Pinnacle would bring back the Northwest Clam Chowder -- it was delicious.

We have a couple of restaurants here in the Pittsburgh area where we can get excellent New England Clam CHOWDER -- in fact DH just had it this past Saturday. Made from scratch -- no canned anything in it.

And we also refer to it and pronounce it as chowder.
