Promenade deck on Summit?

Celebrity ships do not have full walk=around covered promenades as some other cruise lines have. There is a walking track on the deck overlooking the pool and you should not find it too crowded there in the early morning, although later in the day when the sunbathers come out there are sometimes lounge chairs blocking the way.

Walking on the promenade deck provides more protection from sun and wind than walking on the track up above. But you cannot do a complete circuit on the promenade deck unless you cut across through the interior to continue on the other side of the ship.

Since the port side allows smoking (or at least it did the last time I was there), many non-smokers prefer to walk back and forth on the starboard side of the promenade deck.

My observation was that people who stroll slowly like to walk on the promenade deck, while those who do speed walking tend to use the track up above the pool or the treadmills.
