Cruisebehindthescenes Posted May 3, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2012 I don't remember seeing A-1 sauce on the ships. If you like the stuff, cant hurt to pack a small bottle.
daffodiliaz Posted May 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2012 I asked in the MDR on the Epic in the Med and it was brought right out. I would think any restaurant serving steak would have it.
Chipster2 Posted May 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2012 I agree, if you ask, the staff will be more than happy to accommodate.
jdvmd Posted May 4, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2012 DH is packing it. Is this really necessary? Definitely have. I always put it on my burgers. Also lots of other sauces like Heinz 57. No reason to pack.

jame_g Posted May 6, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 6, 2012 Why ruin a perfectly good steak? You sound like my dad, who never could grasp that food is subjective and different people like different things. Ruined for one person is heaven for another. There are lots of things I can't stand that other people just love. I really wish people would stop feeling that everyone else needed to be just like them because it would make for a really boring and uncreative world. (Edited. PS. I'm not a big fan of A1 myself. Just don't see the need to criticize someone for something they enjoy. Do you like to be criticized for the small things that make you happy?) daffodiliaz Posted May 6, 2012 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2012 Why ruin a perfectly good steak? Ah, but if it is perfectly good, then why do people pay more for Cagney's? ;) If memory serves, it was good and I don't recall a bad MDR experience.
