46 cruiser Posted May 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2012 Does anyone know if Royal is strict about liquor in stateroom. Also do the have opportunity to have bottles of liquor delivered to your cabin prior to sailing. Maybe through the line directly. I know carnival will catch anything you try to get onboard. cruisegirl1 Posted May 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2012 According to policy -you may not bring any alcohol onboard and may not buy any in the stores for on-board consumption. You can however, order a drink ( at a bar) and take it back to your cabin. But, You may order a bottle of wine and take it to the cabin ( or anywhere on the ship) . enjoy M

No hard liquor unless you get it drink by drink from the bar and bring it to cabin:cool:
jnojr Posted May 11, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2012 I know carnival will catch anything you try to get onboard. I know you're wrong ;) Carnival has something called "Bon Voyage" where you can buy things for people going on cruises. They find those things in their room. Booze is part of the deal. RCI may have something similar. It's nice to be able to mix up a drink to get ready to go out.

Yes – as previously noted, you may order wine or champagne ( or other gifts) from RCCL to be waiting in the cabin. No liquor. M
