NH residents-read all about FCC expiration...or lack thereof!

Recommended Posts

Since I am 51 and probably won't live to be 151, this is not an issue.

What's good about FCCs not expiring for me is that I can purchase one or two per cruise and not have to worry about booking another cruise within two years/sailing within three. I can wait for the perfect cruise in four or five years from now.

Plus, if Carnival should ever decide to discontinue selling FCCs, I will still have some and will still receive my benefits.

So I'm still trying to understand the benefit- you buy a certificate for $100 and then when you book a cruise you can apply the certificate at face value toward the balance once you've paid the deposit and then you receive up to $100 in obc for that cruise, is that right? What determines how much obc you receive?

The length of the cruise.

$50 for 3 to 5 day cruises, $75 for 6 days, $100 for 7 to 9 days and up to $200 for 12 days or longer.

Since we mostly book 7 day cruises, we essentially double our money. Even with shorter cruises, $50 is $50.
