Bringing alcohol onboard - what's the latest?

Since it sets a specific amount as far as quantity, it can be considered a 'policy' if Princess chooses and therefore subject to section 12 of the cruise contract.

We just completed a 7 day California Coastal out of San Pedro April 28-May 5. We brought a collapsible ice chest with 5 bottles of wine and 12 cans of beer, slapped our Princess luggage tag on it, checked it in with our luggage and it was delivered to our room....no problem. We had wine at dinner and paid the $15 corkage fee. You can bring your glass of wine to dinner for no fee, but only fair to pay the fee since Princess allowed us to bring the extra bottles of wine and beer on board. The ice chest was nice because it kept our beer nice and COLD (filled it with ice everyday), the beer out of the fridge just isn't quite cold enough. We brought bungees to tie on the ice chest to our luggage upon disembarking the ship.
