This is Harnawan....he was a bar steward on the Carnival Legend in December 2011 but here is a funny story. :)

The first night of our cruise he was in the dining room and I told my dad that I recognized him from a previous cruise. He was also our bar steward on the Carnival Victory in 2008 :eek: but the clincher was that he walked up to us and he remembered my name :eek:. OH MY GOD

That is awesome. I would love to run into one of my waiters again, that would be hysterical if they remembered my name. I have heard of this happening before though. Do these waiters take ginkoba or one of those supplements to improve memory? Geesh!

this is the same with us with blackjack dealers.Odd that they remember our names too.Maybe because of our tipping habits :)

Splendor in September 2009. This is Roni (shortened version of his name) from Thailand. He told us that he was going to save his money from working on the cruise and open a coffee shop in Bangkok. Anyone one else recognize him as their waiter?

LOL, I am starting to need it myself! That is just unbelievable that three years later, a waiter would remember someone's name, after different passengers week after week after week! Maybe this person really had an impact on him, and left an impression (hopefully in positive way, I'm sure, lol)

This was our waiter Icky (nickname) from the Victory. Last I heard he was on the Dream. I absolutely loved him and would love to see him again. Maybe we will cross paths again in the future. He was the best waiter we ever had!

We absolutely adored him!! He was partnered with Oswaldo, and they were just the BEST team! He actually remembered one of our dining table mates from a cruise two years previous to that!! Denise had been on her honeymoon at the time..and was traveling with her sister in 2009~~!!
