newmills Posted May 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2012 I can only speak for the Dream. On your last night you are given colour coded luggage labels - different colours for people going back to the airport, people moving on to hotels (different colour per destination) or independent travellers. We had to put our suitcases out in the corridor by 3 a.m. and be out of the cabin by 8 a.m. Several courtesy cabins were available - half hour use per couple - if you had a late departure. Once you had vacated your cabin you could then stay on the ship - and continue to use its bars and restaurants etc. - until you needed to leave; we left at 1 p.m. so had an early lunch. Luggage is stored at the bottom of the gang plank and you just take your own when leaving or identify it for transfer onto your coach if moving on to a hotel with Thomsons. ekco Posted May 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Nothing to worry about Keith, as you know Thomson run a well oiled machine on cruises and they'll let you know what to do and when. We had no problems, just remember to pack away your evening wear before bed and keep out your day clothes as you're not going straight to the airport this time.:):) Jan
