Kings Wharf & Hamilton.. What's there to do?

My bf and I are considering taking a cruise from NY to Bermuda. We have never done a cruise that stays in one port for 3 days. What is there to do in King's Wharf or Hamilton (depending on which cruise we would choose)? Does anyone find that things get old after seeing them for a few days? Do you run out of things to do? Please help!!

If you've never been to Bermuda before, there's plenty of things to do to keep yourself occupied during the day. Walking tours, taking the ferry to different parts of the island and doing the caves on the bus route. If you're a first timer it's easy. When you go back to the island repeatedly like I've done, it starts to run out of new things to see but the beaches are always a good place to park yourself too! :)

 

If you're big into nightlife, I would strongly reconsider going to Bermuda though. They roll up their public transit carpet early and the best nightlife is usually in Hamilton. If you go there by ferry, at the end of the night you have to cab it back to the ship and it's QUITE expensive to do so. Just as an FYI to you.

It's safe...just be aware of your surroundings as you should when you travel anywhere.

 

My wife often goes places by herself when I'm being lazy and grumpy and just want to hang out at the ship's pool.

To the OP...I am going on my 4th cruise to Bermuda this summer and stayed on island once. Still have not seen everything on the island. And others on this board are repeat cruisers to Bermuda. You will have plenty to do as the posted list shows and the island is easy enough to get around.
