kremy Posted May 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2012 Hello! My first post! My boyfriend and I are looking to book a cruise to the Caribbean next April but we've never been and not too sure which one to take. We like to do a lot of shore excursions (Water sports, snorkeling, beaches, ATVs) and not too much into shopping/tours of the city. We've researched the following cruises but wanted to hear from people who have been to these ports and if they would recommend them or not. We're debating between these three itineraries: #1 Miami, FL At Sea Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands San Juan, Puerto Rico St. Maarten St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands At Sea At Sea Miami, FL or #2 Miami, FL At Sea At Sea St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands Antigua Tortola, British Virgin Islands At Sea Nassau, Bahamas Miami, FL or #3 Miami, FL At Sea Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands La Romana (Casa de Campo), Dominican Republic Curacao Aruba At Sea At Sea Miami, FL Thanks so much!!! mrsfuzzmo Posted May 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2012 Honestly, I would consider doing a Western route if you are into snorkeling, beaches, ATVing, Zip Lining, fun adventerous stuff. Look at Grand Cayman (Snorkeling/Stingrays), Cozumel (X-rails, ATVs, snorkeling), Belize (River Cave Tubing), Roatan (Zip Lining, Snorkeling), Jamaica (Waterfall climbing, Hoseback riding). I've found western to be geared more toward watersports and active adventures.
Rare Keith1010 Posted May 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2012 I like option three and ending with the two sea days is nice. I like places such as Grand Turks. Keith
