CenTexGal Posted May 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2012 We have MANY hours to kill in FLL after returning from our Panama cruise in Oct. Any suggestions on what to do with our luggage while we check out the area? Our flight is not until 5:00pm. Thanks!
JohninDC Posted May 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2012 Rent a car, bags in the trunk, go where you want. Good luck! :)
eandj Posted May 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2012 Find out from your cruiseline if they offer any procedures to send your bags ahead. Some airlines participate.
Rare JamesEM Posted May 24, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2012 For a fee there is a luggage storage area at the airport.
eandj Posted May 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2012 For a fee there is a luggage storage area at the airport. But then you have to cab it to the airport from the port to get bags there, cab it away back to town and later cab back to the airport. Might as well rent a car and have flexibility and less worry. That's over $50 in cabs right there.
bills blasters Posted May 24, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Use the luggage express. For $20 bag they will take your luggage the night before and you won't see them till you return home. We did it out of FLL twice and it worked great.
CenTexGal Posted May 25, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted May 25, 2012 Thanks everyone for all the suggestions:) The Luggage Express sounds like the best deal. I will check into that, or the possibility of renting a car.
