Chankanaab - any non water related activities??

They do have a self guided tour where you walk in a mini-forest and you go by stone sculptures, huts and it leads to a replica of the mayan ruins.

There is also a beautiful lagoon there with iguanas basking in the sun.

 

They do have shops, great Mexican food, you can watch shows with the sea lions and they have things like hair braiding stations. :)
