Getting from Port Everglades to Miami post-cruise hotel

Hi everyone,

 

I booked a Thanksgiving cruise and I will be flying out of Miami the day following my arrival in Ft. Lauderdale and I need to figure out the best way to get from one place to the other. I am saving $400 waiting to fly out on Monday :D

 

Has anyone done this and if so, what did you do?

Stay an extra day and save $$ - sweet! :D

 

Where's your hotel - downtown Miami? Miami Beach? Near MIA airport? :confused:

 

A one way car rental (FLL to MIA) is likely your cheapest option, but if you are staying downtown or Miami Beach be aware that all hotels charge guests $25-30+ day for parking. :eek:

 

SAS, QLS or Go Airport Shuttle can shuttle you to Miami hotels - you may need to wait until late morning as most are busy early bringing passengers from POM back to FLL.

 

Larry's Limos has been suggested for Miami service.

I am staying at the Holiday Inn downtown across from the Bayside Marketplace.

 

No car so no parking worries!! :)
