Rare CTCruiser001 Posted May 29, 2012 #27 Share Posted May 29, 2012 Does the casino limit the # of coupons you can use on a cruise? Thank you I believe it is one coupon per sailing...Or it might be one coupon per 7 days...Can't remember. Anyone?
Starry Eyes Posted May 29, 2012 #28 Share Posted May 29, 2012 One per adult per 14 days.
franma Posted May 29, 2012 #29 Share Posted May 29, 2012 So, be sure to print the actual coupon to avoid any problems. If the Slot Play Coupon people are reading this - please take out the line "Print this email" so that others don't experience the same frustration that I did; make it clear that the actual coupon is required. Thanks! Thanks for posting this. I had printed the email, but will print the coupon because of what you said. Don't need extra aggravation. Actually, the correspondence said you only needed the confirmation number, not even the email was necessary. Obviously there's a hitch in the system, so better safe than sorry. Thanks again. FEckeT Posted May 29, 2012 #30 Share Posted May 29, 2012 Thank you for the link. =) I will be purchasing this for my husband and I as well as the NCL promo I saw in the bon voyage special. Quick question. Let's say I win $100 (and have approx $45 from the promo left) and would rather cash out. When I cash out they will just keep the $45 from the promo and give me the $100? Also, can I just keep the card through the whole trip or do I need to cash out each night? M We just returned from the Star to Bermuda (5/13-20/2012) where we used both coupons. The casino host loaded $70 onto both mine and my husband's casino card. As an example, I decided to play at a Wheel of Fortune $1 machine with a maximum bet of $3. I loaded $15 into the machine and instead of trying to remember when I had taken 5 spins, I would just hit "cash out" everytime the machine hit. You can then add these slips of paper back into the machine and "cash out" one slip or continue to play; or take these slips to the cashier and receive cash. Once you use the amount of money you have loaded into a machine, you can then move to another machine, or play on another day. This also works the same as purchasing $100 of slot money for 5,000 world points. If you are a slot player, you could be able to use the world points along with the coupon and the NCL Bon Voyage coupon as well, but I would contact Casino at Sea or ask someone with more "slot knowledge" on these boards. Last year we purchased the $100 for 5,000 world points, but did not use the Slot Play Coupons. Also, you can purchase only one coupon per person and also purchase one NCL Bon Voyage item per person. I am not sure how many $100 you can purchase for 5,000 points. NCL Bon Voyage slot money and the $100 for 5,000 world points can be ordered through any NCL PCC, so I guess they should know if there is a limit to how many world points you could purchase slot money with. Wish they would think of something like this for the table games. ;) (Right now there is only the one NCL Bon Voyage pay $10 get $15 in chips limit 1 per person.) Hope I didn't confuse anyone. :)

SlipperyP Posted May 29, 2012 #37 Share Posted May 29, 2012 Just an update to printing the actual coupon - I did contact Slot Play Coupons and was advised that the email confirmation IS acceptable. Rare mitsugirly Posted May 29, 2012 #39 Share Posted May 29, 2012 I have always had to call NCL directly to ask for their special (721) for me and my husband. They took the payment over the phone and when I arrived, the coupon to take down to the casino for the slot play would be sitting in my room. :D They work great and we always do this every cruise. No worries. (Trust me, from the huge stack I've seen sitting at the Casino desk everyone has turned in while we were cruising, A LOT of people enjoy these perks!) JMHAM1 Posted May 29, 2012 #40 Share Posted May 29, 2012 Yes we used them with no issues on the Star in January. Very good deal indeed and I was thinking that it might not work but it totally did.
HouNew2Cruise Posted May 30, 2012 #41 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Although I didn't have problems the first two times I used these coupons, I did encounter a problem on the Dawn last week. My printer at home wasn't working so I tried to print the coupons at work. However, the Slot Play Coupon site was blocked due to it being related to gambling. Just for future reference. You can download CutePDF for free, which is a printer driver that prints it to a PDF file. You could then print the PDF file later, when you have a printer available. Or email it to your work account to print from there.

WaldosPepper Posted August 31, 2012 #43 Share Posted August 31, 2012 I filled out the form and emailed it to groupevent@NCLI haven't heard back if they received or not. Doesn't show on my NCL account (cruising booking) How do I know it was accepted? When did you send it? Have you checked to see if the charge went through on the card you gave them? I've never done my requests via email, I always do it over the phone, and then ask for an updated "Amenities Confirmation" which will detail not only items you have purchased, but also any onboard credit you may have, etc. Bon Voyage Gifts will not show up anywhere on your MyNCL account, which is why it is handy to have that Amenities confirmation. ;) Perhaps you could give them a call, and have them check your account, and then request the confirmation. You can reach them at 800-327-7030.

MAMATAMA Posted September 1, 2012 #48 Share Posted September 1, 2012 Just ioff the Dawn, My daughter and I each bout a 25 card for 50 in play... We had no problems using them and we used it the entire trip... My daughter ended up cashing out 60 dollars and was thrilled. You have to gable at least the 50 in creidt , it dose not matter what machine or in how much you bet you can bet 1 cent at a time as long as you gamble the original.. THe money you win you can cash out for.. They will give you a paper with a number and a pin you insert you players card and then the pin and you pick how much credit youwant to play at one time.. we went with low amounts incase we did not like machine. If we won a lont we would take card out and re enter and use more of the original credit... We watched how much we used sowe new when it was gone and took the rest... Hope this helped...
