ritzgolfer Posted May 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2012 My family will be sailing on the Allure of the Seas this August with our 9 month old son. We sailed on the Disney Dream when he was 4 months old but we have some questions about sailing with him on the Allure. Will the stateroom host empty the mini-bar so we can store baby bottles? Will guest services store our ice packs to keep them frozen for our port days? Do we have to request for food to be pureed in the restaurants ahead of time? Do they have diaper geanies for the staterooms like Disney does? Any other helpful tips would be great. Thanks!
cb at sea Posted May 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Yes..if you ask, they will empty the fridge. I don't know if there's anywhere to store ice packs...you'll have ice in your cabin, if you ask...that should suffice! The first night, your waiter will get the message about pureeing food...just tell them what you need! No diaper genies...bring scented trashbags! Ready 2 Go Posted May 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Not sure if your 9 month old is formula fed or not, but if so, I always found the powder formula to be convenient. All you need is bottled water and you make as much/as little as needed. So minimum waste or worry about about cooling. But of course, breastmilk is probably even more convenient than that!!! Have a fun cruise. :)
