Golden Eye estate questions

We were just there last week - and if we did nothing else all week, my son would have been thrilled just for this one stop. I don't know if a tour can actually be booked ahead of time, but we got lucky by being allowed in after just stopping by. It is an actual working resort, and according to the person who showed us around they will allow people in according to how busy they are. Lucky for us, the villa that was actually Ian Fleming's house was vacant and we were able to go in. The grounds are beautiful, but I don't know that you can use the beach if you are not staying there. Try calling them direct to see what information they will give you. Also, try islandoutpost.com which has some common ownership and does lots of excursions, including to Goldeneye, I believe. We thought it a very worthwhile stop for a James Bond fan, and even if not, very nice to see.
