Denali road guide

My dh asked me if we should get this book and I dida search and can't find anything recent on the boards about this book. Anybody have an opinion on the book? We leave in three weeks for ourcruiseand if we got it before we leave we would have over a week to read it before we get there.

We bought the Denali Road Guide several years ago and found it good for researching prior to traveling back on the road. The Wilderness Access Center, where you would board the busses, has a lot of literature for free that duplicates some of what the book offers.

For free you can download tons of stuff online.

think that the road guide would be most useful only if you were planning to spend a lot of days there....Especially offseason when you can drive it yourself at least out to the river....or going back country for a week or two....Like it was said....There is a lot of literature that you can download for free.....it would be excellent for the bus ride...
