Can someone book a cruise 5 Days Before Sailing?

I already have a reservation on the Carnival Spirit on May 11, 2005, however,now my cousin, his wife and his 2 year old baby want to get on the ship.

 

I have a friend who "hooks me up" with the cruises because she works at Carnival, we tried to call her but its after 7 PM.

 

Do you think its difficult getting on a cruise 5 days before? and if so does anyone know what cabins are going for??

I got off the phone with Carnivals reservation service

 

they only have two interior cabins available

 

The first and second passenger is 779.00 and the third is 669.00 (which I think is crazy becauses the baby is 1 year and 11 months old).. The airfare through Carnival is 700.00 per person but the baby doesnt pay airfare. I checked online and its 750 on all websites.

 

that include port charges.

The prices look good except for the airfare is abit pricey, I would search out airfares real quick using the various airline websites. Also 669.00 does sound high for a baby, Did you mention the babys age?
