poolwife Posted June 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2012 I am wondering where our ship will be docked in Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. Is there a website that shows this?
CruiserBruce Posted June 10, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2012 From just a couple threads below yours: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1649710 That is for Juneau. Skagway doesn't have many docks, so not a lot of choices there.
poolwife Posted June 10, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted June 10, 2012 Thank you. I see we are at berth CT. But, where is a map to see where that is?

poolwife Posted June 11, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted June 11, 2012 Yes, but I don't see that it shows what CT is which is supposedly where we are docked. I guess I missed something. How does this map show me where my ship the Celebrity Millenium will be docked? In which spot?
bonvoyagie Posted June 11, 2012 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2012 Here is the link to the entire list http://www.claalaska.com/schedules2012.html pick your port and look at the schedule. For Skagway you will be at the Railroad Dock Aft RRA This is the farthest away from downtown. Can't really help with a decoder. Here is a link to a map of Skagway http://cruiseportinsider.com/skagwaymaps.html
idalia Posted June 13, 2012 #7 Share Posted June 13, 2012 For those looking for the decoder (ring) :D. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the port schedule page, there are 3 links under the "Schedule Guides" section Berth codes Port codes Ship codes To figure out where the dock is, you'll probably need to do some additional research on each port of call. I'd try the websites for each port's visitor centre or official tourism site.
bonvoyagie Posted June 13, 2012 #8 Share Posted June 13, 2012 I found the ship codes section very interesting as it show some ships that have not plyed AK waters in at least 8 yrs - or longer. One I know for sure is the Windward (NCL) and the Norweigen Wind - both are the same vessel - the Wind was created from the Windward by splicing a new section into the center of the old ship. The Sun, Wind, and Sky were all crusing AK in 2002 when I took my first AK cruise (and first cruise ever)
pdmlynek Posted June 13, 2012 #9 Share Posted June 13, 2012 Yes, but I don't see that it shows what CT is which is supposedly where we are docked. I guess I missed something. How does this map show me where my ship the Celebrity Millenium will be docked? In which spot? "CT" mean Cruise Ship Terminal. It is labeled as D on the linked map. 58deg 17'47"N 134deg 24'04"W
