Golden Princess Cabin- Will We Love It or Hate It?

We're looking to book the Golden Princess to Alaska this September. For those of you who have stayed in C743, please share your pros and cons with us. We usually book midship, but the only available balconies are aft. Will we love it.....or hate it?

You'll love it. The Caribe balconies are large at 9'x9', and are half-covered/half-uncovered. That's my preferred location on the Grand-class ships. The negative is that you will probably hear/feel the thrusters more but that's only as you arrive at and leave port.

We were on the same cabin on the Star for 23 days two years ago in South America. We loved the cabin because there is a 45 degree notch aft that allows you better views aft.

This is a photo of C743 on the Golden and gives you another view of the notch.

You do need to walk a bit but that helps work off some of the food from the HC and IC . It is a nice, quiet location with no neighbor to the aft.
