pne1881 Posted June 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2012 I've been looking into some options recently on Azura, and keep seeing these issues, across various websites, around re-categorising of rooms, the parts that are underlined as below. Are P&O making some of these rooms cheaper, for the future, or is the ship being remodelled, etc., etc., etc.? Can anyone shed any light as to the reason why this would happen? kevinyork Posted June 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2012 Yes Ive seen those new terms used but there is no remodelling planned and they cannot turn a balcony cabin into an outside cabin can they and why would they? Think there is something wrong with their new classifications
marylizcat Posted June 14, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2012 With the reclassification of some cabins, they are using the categories, eg 'NA' to mean something entirely different. Take a 2012 brochure and compare with a 2013 brochure and you will see from the deck plans and keys what is going on!
Rare Host Sharon Posted June 14, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2012 Cunard have done a similar thing. I think the aim was to simplify choosing a cabin by whether it is aft, midships or forward and then by how high up it is in the ship. A vrey few cabins are cheaper, but also many are more expensive as their definition of midships might not be everyone's!
