Captain List

With just over 3000 milestone cruisers and a whole lot fewer Diamond cruisers I'm concerned that there would often be no other Diamond cruisers on the ship with us.....

I don't mind chatting with the Senior officers on the Promenade during the Captains Celebration but to be invited to have dinner with them or just me and sister at a cocktail party is something that I just wouldn't be interested in doing.

Plus, I rarely take cloths for elegant evening. I'm more of a slacks or capri set in the MDR and alternate venue for dining on elegant evening.

This is a general statement and in no way personally directed at anyone.

I know several people that don't broadcast what they are, wear the S&S card where people can see it, or tell people on roll calls or this board what level they are. Every cruise I am on, my answer to the question of how many cruises have you been on is "2." Enough to know what is what on the ship, but not a threat to the people who have to have more cruises than the people they meet on the ship.

It has been my observation that there are two types of people who are diamond and/or milestone status. The ones that want everyone on the ship to know, and the ones that keep it a guarded secret unless they have to take out their card for something and someone see it. I belong to the latter group. So there are probably more milestone and/or diamond members on your cruise than you are aware of.

Were all different. Would love to have dinner with the capt just for the experience but hopefully would be a capt with good English speaking skills or we might just sit there and stare at each other all evening.

plus am familiar with many of the Sr. rates at table, makes for a well rounded table of conversations por la sera!
