Warnemunde to Sachsenhausen concentration camp

We are on Eurodam stopping in Warnemunde on july 12th. thinking about renting a car and going to Sachsenhausen . Can someone help with instructions? Also thinking about a possibility of stopping in a town on the way back for a visit (recomendations?).

I am bumping this up for you. My advice is to rent a car and buy a map of the area before you leave so you know where you're going. The camp is in Oranienburg not far outside of Berlin. The drive will be about 2.5 hours or so depending on traffic, so plan accordingly when you need to be back on board.

 

When I looked at google maps it seemed pretty straightforward, but there are toll roads involved. German roads are extremely well marked, even the "B" roads that go through towns.
