Electronic table games?

In a recent review of the Carnival Dream I read that the casino had electronic table games. Can anyone tell me if that means they have virtual blackjack games? We love playing virtual blackjack over human dealers because we play for fun and don't need other players giving us grief over our "mistakes".

Yes, on the last two ships I have been on they have the electronic blackjack tables.

Thanks, I hope they are on the Dream. On the Oasis we played for a long time and most lost very little, some actually came out ahead.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Thom524: I was on the Dream. At that time they didn't have any electronic table games. Who knows, now they may have it because they seem to be popular. Also, Casinos don't have to pay a dealer.

So what are these electronic tables? Is it like the poker tables where everyone sits around and plays BL on the table? Do they still have tables with live dealers? Thanks

They do have real live dealers, the casinos are as nice and fully equipped as land based casinos. What I call "virtual" blackjack looks like a regular table only the dealer and your cards are just computer generated. Keep in mind the money you win or lose is real not virtual.

Haha, got that figured out myself.. I prefer the old fashioned tables.
