RCCL Allure cruise with 21 mo. & 11 yr old

We are taking a family cruise next year with our daughter, son in law and granddaughters. My husband and I were on the Allure this year and we know there are alot of activities.

 

My question is about Adventure Ocean for the 11 yr old. I know she would enjoy the activities but is rather shy with strangers. She is not one to make the first move, although she is very receptive if someone is friendly.

 

How would she do in Adventure Ocean?

 

Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's hard to say for sure. My older son was not a joiner and would not go to the youth program but my younger son loves to go.

 

Adventure Ocean is one of the best kids programs at sea. There may be many kids in there at one time depending on the time of year but if she goes- I think she will get hooked.

If you take her to the orientation on the 1st evening, everyone will be "new" to everyone else....that's the best time for the initial meetings. Her age group seems to have the most fun, so do encourage her to give it a try!
