2 one weeks vs a two week

We have never cruised Seabourn but are now looking at a one week from Venice to Athens and possibly continuing from Athens to Istanbul.

Why is it more expensive if we book a two week from Venice to Istanbul rather than each leg separately?

They put aside ony a certain number of cabins on a thru voyage of 14 days and once they are sold that's it. So could be that each individual sailings are not selling that well and they have lowered the price.

While I doubt this would happen on Seabourn if you book each segment individually you may need to switch cabins for the new segment.

Quite often the Seabourn web site is incorrect so it is better to check either by phone of with TA. I think you used to get 10% discount if you combine two cruises so it should be cheaper not more expensive.

No only if the two cruises total greater than 17 days combined, otherwise no b2b discount, also you must be in the same CAT to get the full 10% discount otherwise Seabourn only gives 5% for a b2b.:eek::mad:
