johneeo Posted July 4, 2012 Author #230 Share Posted July 4, 2012 We were on our way from Labadee to Jamaica, below is a pic of our first encounter of Cuban refugees. Whole bunch of them hopped on board and sailed with us to Jamaica, most of them hung out in the front on top of the Solarium: We would be having another encounter with a raft that had 18 people, most probably paddling from Cuba to Florida. I will have some pics of that coming up.

johneeo Posted July 4, 2012 Author #232 Share Posted July 4, 2012 These were on every floor by the elevators. You could actually find out if the WJ or other venues were crowded, etc.

johneeo Posted July 4, 2012 Author #236 Share Posted July 4, 2012 **Sigh** I want to go next week after looking at these pics!!! Did you do the flowrider?? I never got around to the FR. Matter of fact, after the first day when I took the pix in the back of the ship, I do not think I ever crossed center ship to the back on the pool decks. Also, never did (nor saw) the zip line. I have to do this ship again.

johneeo Posted July 4, 2012 Author #238 Share Posted July 4, 2012 The Aqua Suite looks like an amazing location for views. Did you get any pictures inside? 'Twas amazing, but I did not get any inside pix. I guess I was too busy having fun outside. Never thought about it.

lovetotravel700001 Posted July 4, 2012 #240 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Thanks so much for sharing. I don't even have an Oasis cruise in my future (doing Freedom in 11 days and looking at Jewel in the Caribbean in 2013), but I will have to eventually get around to this ship. Maybe I can find a deal and go with my parents sometime!

johneeo Posted July 4, 2012 Author #244 Share Posted July 4, 2012 One thing, they have a "sand artist" that was unbelievable. This is another show not to be missed.
johneeo Posted July 4, 2012 Author #245 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Most mornings, I was at the WJ when it opened at 7. They had tons of stuff, all very good. My normal breakfast would be scrambled eggs with salmon, sausage, bacon, home fries covered in gravy, corn beef hash, some pineaplle. DW said it got crowded as the AM went on. But, there were other places, Solarium, JRs, Park Cafe.
