Adults on the Jewel

Are there any adult areas on the Jewel? Is there an adult pool?

Now that the children can cruise for free on my November cruise I am going to need a place to hang out.

I had no problems on my Disney cruise as they have adult areas.

There are no "adults only" areas except bars late at night and the Casino (most times).. One of the pools is designated "adults only", but there is no enforcement and the area around the pool is not so designated.

However, NCL has good kids programs and hopefully most of them on your cruise will join up with that resource and be minimally invasive.

Oh...the Spa is also Adults only and the Gym is teens and above only.

We went on the Jewel to Alaska in June and swam in the adults pool. The kids swam in the kids pool. However, there werent lots of people swimming, so it worked out. When we went to the Bahamas, there were also 2 pools and both were full of kids. So it really depends on which cruise your on as far as being separated more.

There is a crew member on the pool deck, but he mostly watches the kids and slide area as a lifeguard.

You probably wont find any kids in the casino ;)

Deck 6 generally has few people on it. Thats the open deck under the lifeboats, next to the front desk/atrium area. Ive seen kids out there, but since theres nothing but chairs, they find it boring and dont hang out there.

Its a good relaxing area and a good place to walk.

There is a quiet area in the front of the ship, however no pool. It's on the deck above the pool. There is a neat rain shower up there for cooling off. Very quiet, no kids, just adults relaxing and reading. Enjoy!!

To Clarify, Do you mean deck 7, as it is the Promenade Deck with the reception area and is directly below the life boats?
