Barcelona Railway Station

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if there is a left luggage facility at Barcelona railway station. I am assuming there is... but is it free?

After disembarkation we have several hours to kill before our onward train to Paris.

There are multiple railway stations in Barcelona. As you talk about heading to Paris later, I'm assuming you mean Franca station and the overnight train?

I say this because Sants is the main station in Barcelona; and while people might confirm there is left luggage facilities at Sants, there may not be at Franca, and this webpage http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/faq/cruise-ship-terminals/lockers-at-barcelona-port-cruise-terminal.html seems to imply they are no longer open at Franca.

There are left luggage lockers at Sants railway station. They are not free.

There are 2 sizes of lockers. For up to 24 hours the charges are small (80 x 60 x 40cm) €3 and large (90 x 60 x 50cm) €4.50.

You will need euros. There is a machine which gives change.

OP is taking the overnight train to Paris, which doesn't leave from Sants, but leaves from Franca.

I know that but the question they asked was

"Does anybody know if there is a left luggage facility at Barcelona railway station. I am assuming there is... but is it free?"

They didn't specify that it had to be at their departure station and Sants station is always considered the main station in Barcelona
