What does this all include? Any food or snacks? I realize it is better to upgrade to the Tundra tour but that is not possible, so we just wanted to hear from someone who did this what it was like.

Yes, there are snacks/drinks. I haven't taken it, but there is information about the tour on the Denali NP web site, and the Park's reservation site: http://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/bus-tours.htm

http://www.reservedenali.com/play/tours/denali-natural-history.aspx

The History Tour goes to Mile 17.

The Park has a free shuttle that goes to Mile 15, the Savage River shuttle. It's 2 hrs round trip or you can hop off and walk the Savage River trail. http://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/courtesy-shuttle-buses.htm

You may not have time for the Tundra Wilderness Tour but do you have time for the Toklat shuttle? Check it out on the reservation page, under PLAY. Getting to Toklat would give you a better chance for wildlife viewing. Have a great trip, whatever you choose!

what time do you arrive and depart from Denali? What month?

Could you make the 3pm Toklat shuttle? 5pm ?

Also, what mode of transit. List the exact details, and the experts here and best advise you.

wondering why this is what Celebrity includes and only allows time for.

Because you wanted/chose shorter time. I recommend people go for as LONG as they can afford and avoid all short cruisetours of less than 5 days- ideally you need to consider 7. People grossly underestimate distances and time necessary for activities.
