Suggestions for Shore Excursions - Pls Help

Hi Everyone,

 

This is our first cruise to Alaska and we're taking our kids, son 20 & daughter 12. My DH has already expressed he does not want to get wet doing Kayaking or river rafting. Would love to do the Helicopter & Dog Sledding, but it would blow our $1200 excursion budget. I want to be able to go to excursions in each port.

 

Any and all suggestions please.........:)

What ports??? And you need to further narrow down your touring interests, list several for input from those who have gone on them. Ask each kid to list their top 5 choices?? There are many many excellent tours in Alaska, no sense recommending some that are of no interest. :)

If he doesn't want to do kayaking or river rafting, and it sounds like you want to do something on the water, try the Mendenhall canoe trip in Juneau. It's gorgeous and you won't get wet--unless it's raining.
