south-carolinagirl Posted July 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2012 If you are booked es, then you can submit the form to get obc applied, otherwise you won't be able to get the deduction.

If you didn't book the early saver rate you can always ask for an upgrade Bill Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
getfuzzy Posted July 7, 2012 #7 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Do a search on this forum about a price drop. Lots of info regarding how to go about it. Hope you get it! If I were you, I would go ahead and take some screenshots of the price you are able to find that is lower to send in if it goes up.

Only 3 weeks ago. I did book as a repeat Carnival traveler though. just saw your second post~ since you booked a few weeks ago you are not eligible for the price drop in on board credit (obc) only thing you can do is see if a higher category than yours is cheaper than what you paid~ and you can be upgraded. firefly333 Posted July 7, 2012 #10 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Look to see what category above yours matches what you paid and call your booking agent to request the upgrade. I would look at what is available and have a plan before I called.
princessdivaapril Posted July 7, 2012 Author #11 Share Posted July 7, 2012 How do I know if a category is an upgrade? Sorry...I know little about this stuff.
firefly333 Posted July 7, 2012 #12 Share Posted July 7, 2012 How do I know if a category is an upgrade? Sorry...I know little about this stuff. Are you sure your price dropped by $400??? If you know what your category is .. start there. Since you didnt tell us.. Ill have to make something up. Lets say you have a 8C balcony. 8s are all balconys, the lowest letter of the alphabet is the lowest... 8A, 8B, 8C .. ..the categorys above you would be 8D, up thru 8M, or whatever 8s are open on your ship. 9s, are corner afts, and probably all booked. suites would be above those. The lowest the letter next to the category, the lower the category. 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 4E .. etc .. all insides. 6A, 6B, 6C etc.. going up by category, OVs. How are you sure your price dropped without knowing the categories?
