eastender Posted July 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2012 The very top deck of aft cabins (piero della francesca) are ocean view. Looking at a photo of the back of the ship, they look interesting and have a space in front of them that looks like it could have been made a balcony. Can anyone give me any information on these cabins, type of window etc? We've booked 13201.
eastender Posted July 9, 2012 Author #2 Share Posted July 9, 2012 Attempting to attach photo of Fantasia. The top row of cabins look like balcony rooms, people are standing along the rail but are actually ocean view on the deck 13 plan and sold as ocean view. The middle section looks like a public area. Norwegian Cruiser 73 Posted July 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2012 The cabins back there on deck 13 are sold as oceanwiev cabins as they are not really balcony cabins. Actually there is a very small balcony but no space for chairs and a table. But you can go out there and enjoy the view. The windows are like a ordinary balcony cabin, big with a sliding door. Great views:) The buffetrestaurant is on the deck above so you might hear some noise from moving chairs etc but I'm not sure. A couple of decks down the balconies are really big. barante Posted July 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2012 . . . this may be a deal. I would take it if the price differential between a regular aft-facing cabin justifies it. Also depends on the itinerary.
