Special Rate for Interior Cabins on Carnival - extra perks ???

mmm, I wonder what nice perks they must be offering on this cruise to entice people to book an Interior for $869, instead of an Oceanview for $679?

On my last cruise the OV was actually less than the interior but only by 30pp.

Someone will get Hell for putting the wrong info into that ad! I spotted a deal similar, it was a misprint. Even though I sent my copy of the picture, the price was not honored.

I checked it out - the lower price for the OV are for pack n' go only.

It sure does look funny though. Never seen that before!

Supply and demand... prices are establish by a program, less interior cabin unsold than OV.

 

The situation should change in the next hours as people will book OV.

That was the situation on my last cruise on the fascination. I got a special resident rate for Florida and was able to book a Gty OV room for less than an interior.

 

I did notice the Interior rate allowed me to pick my room. So maybe that's why it was less?

I ended up midship on the upper deck so the Gty wasn't a bad choice for me.
