Price drop? Did I do it right?

So we're booked on the Dec 20, Fantasy and it has dropped 175. today. I filled out the form, and sent it along, but not sure I did it right. I just fake booked the cabin across the hall from mine and the price was down today. Anything else I should do? Besides the drop-in-price dance?

Was it the same category as yours.. doesnt matter if its across from your cabin or not, it is supposed to be the same category, even if its on a different deck.

What category are you in.. Im trying to think of two cabins across from each other that are the same category .. inside is across for OV etc.. ??

We're in an OV and I checked the OV price. ? right? The price I checked was on the other side of the ship in an OV.. if that helps. not across the hallway.. lol

Do you know what category?? Thats the first thing to know. Like 6A, 6B, 6C

... and match it to any other of the same category. Where the cabin is located is not relevant .. but it probably is ok, if its the opposite cabin on the ship.

I would for sure find out your category though for future price matches.

go to cruisedeckplans.com and click on carnival, then click on your ship.. over on the left are drag and drop deck plans.

If you click on your cabin ...the category pops up.

while you are there, it might be of interest to click on the top over the ship when its up. click on "other", then public rooms, scroll down to laundry locations on your ship as a for instance.
