Bahia Mar

I have booked the Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale for a 2 night pre-cruise stay in Feb and was hoping I could get some feedback from those who have stayed there recently. Beach hotels are pricing out very high due to the time of year so this one seemed to be a fairly good deal. Thanks, Bob from TX

Have stayed there 2 times and would not hesitate to stay again if we wanted to be on the beach.

It's a nice moderate priced beach location. Perfect spot for water taxi and walking along the beach to other restaurants and bars. We would rather be here than at any 17th st. hotel. Beach, beach....That's what we want to see coming from the midwest in the winter months. ;)

 

Tower rooms facing the ocean are the nicest. Marina rooms are along the waterway with views of the boats. Garden rooms are lowest rate with no view of water.

It's a nice hotel.

 

Not sure if you took a look at the Lago Mar Resort which is a favorite of mine.

Thanks Keith and I did check out Lago Mar. It was about $140 more a night so I went Bahia Mar. Bob from Tx

I just got Sheraton Beach Resort on priceline for $150 a night, 2/6/13.
