Just Booked Ventura Transatlantic

Just booked a Getaway Deal 21 night Caribbean fly out and transatlantic home on Ventura next March. It was 3k each when we first looked at it and booked it for £1800 each so very pleased.

Sounds great for 21 nights, My only worry is that i would burst from eating that much food for three weeks:D Unfortunately my other half wont entertain the transatlantic crossing so I guess i will misss out on the experience myself:(

We have booked the same thing but on Azura - it will be the longest cruise we have done - really looking forward to it. Ours is not a Getaway Deal - we booked as soon as the Azura cruises were released when they cancelled the World cruise she was supposed to do. Now, all the cabins in the grade we wanted have gone so it was just as well we did. Have a wonderful time.:)

Yes, it is a risk as we don't lnow our balcony cabin nos yet and we certainly won't get exactly the cabins that we want but for a saving of £4800 for the 4 of us travelling it seems a risk worth taking. We have our preferred 2nd Sitting confirmed and we have a scheduled BA flight included from Gatwick as well, so are pleased (at the moment). Have a wonderful time yourself, we also looked at the Azura one which is 2 weeks later but my wife could not get that time off from work.

Just for information we booked our P&O transatlantic cruise for November 12 only last Thursday and yesterday when looking at our cruise personaliser found our cabin number and a up grade.... albeit to a metal fronted balcony but on lido deck. Enjoy!

That's unusual - P & O don't normally use scheduled flights for the Caribbean, you usually get charter flights. Presume you won't get the seamless luggage transfer then? Also less legroom.

Thats right we have always had charter in the past but with BA we should be able to pay to take an extra case and check in online.

We booked the transatlantic going out in Nov on Ventura last month.

 

We to could have booked a getaway which was very good value but in the end were offered a C deck balcony plus £780 obc each! for the normal listed price so chose this option. However checking today we could have had a guaranteed delux balcony for £2000 less than we paid but no obc but at the end of the day we were please with what we got last month.

 

We also picked up a jubilee offer for Azura next March this has now gone up by £600 each so fluid pricing can mean prices going up as well as down.
