Misty Fjords excursion necessary?

I'm on the Royal Carib. Serenade, departing May 29. Our itinerary lists "Misty Fjords Cruising" for 2 hours on June 3. My question: is it worth booking a Misty Fjords excursion from Ketchikan in addition, since we'll already cruise through a portion of the area? A couple of such options are listed in our cruise info booklet. Perhaps a seaplane adventure or wilderness cruise and flight will take us to much more remote/spectacular areas than we'll see from the Serenade. Any thoughts on this? Thanks-

I just had a message from a friend on the Sun that did the Misty Fjords float plane trip. She said she got sick and that it was foggy. I couldn't decide from what she wrote if she enjoyed it or not. But I think it would be a great experience.
