Nola26 Posted July 29, 2019 #51 Share Posted July 29, 2019 I don't buy the NCL insurance, but have purchased it for our upcoming Mediterranean cruise. Normally I'm either OK with the risk of losing my cruise payment or rely on my credit card and medical policies. I have not had to use either insurance in the past and hope we don't need it on the next cruise. Last year I canceled a cruise past final payment, I forget the value of the loss but it wasn't crippling as it was lower priced cruise. We took the rebooked cruise this year and I didn't upgrade the cabin so that also softened the blow from cancellation.
