Rome airport to center city to port of rome

Will be taking norweign jade in feb. Rt from rome. Need best and cheaptest way to get from the airport to central rome hotel and then to the pier.

Least expensive (from the airport to downtown Rome) is one of the buses; the published fare is 6 Euro but they've been running a 4 Euro promotional fare quite frequently. Safe, clean and easy, you put your luggage underneath and don't worry about it until you arrive in Rome.

 

Moving up in expense, and slightly higher in aggravation, is the train. The local train to Trastevere or Ostiense is 8 Euro, the express train to Termini (the Leonardo Express) is 14 Euro.
