Parking at Double Tree LA/SP

What does people think of the 14 Day cruise parking in San Pedro at the Double Tree Hotel?????:confused:

We have parked at the Crowne Plaza but not the Doubletree, sorry. The Crowne Plaza charged us $189 for the nite before the cruise and that included the parking for the trip which was a 28 day cruise to Hawaii and Tahiti. However, this trip (with you on the Golden) we will be driving in the day of departure and parking at the San Pedro cruise terminal for the two weeks. Cost is $12.00 per day.

We've used the Doubletree stay/park package & it worked well. Going to the pier the signup list for the shuttle fills quickly & you may not get to the ship early. My wife dropped me & the luggage at the pier, parked at hotel & took shuutle. After the cruise shuttles were crowded & we missed a couple of them. Next time one of us would take the shuttle & return to the pier in our car to get the other one & luggage.

 

The Doubletree is slightly further away than the Crowne Plaza & we enjoyed being in the quiet Cabrillo Beach Marina area.

We love the DTI and would be happy to stay there anytime. We have stayed there and parked our car for 15 days. So specifically, the parking is a surface lot but well lit, video monitored and patrolled, there should be no concerns at all.

Be sure and book a room that overlooks the LA Yacht Club and marina....it to us is classic coastal California.:)
