we will be stopping here and I am interested in doing something that my teenage son would enjoy..any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks...it gets old just driving around sightseeing

visting the caulderas and then having lunch that was cooked in the volcanic ground. Swimming in the "copper pool" just by the botanical gardens, thermal areas of the coast for a swim, pineapple plantation. Lots to see in Ponta Delgada.
