Arlain's is out in East End near Ocean Frontiers dive shop (and Compass Point condos), a long way from the port.

 

I've had a burger a time or two. Affordable and not bad, but I probably would not drive from George Town just for that.

Arlain's is no more.

 

A new restaurant, Bombay Chopsticks, under the guidance of Chef Remy is going into that location. It is scheduled to open sometime in October.

 

From their Facebook page the seems a bit more upscale offering "Indian-Chinese cuisine with a twist." Still not much room for dining in but should be a nice option for those staying on the East End of the island or those cruise ship visitors making a full drive around the eastern end of the island.

 

** As usual, I have no affiliation with this business... other than I like Indian and Chinese food and it is a lot close to my house. You might find me picking up dinner there some night. :D
