DizzyDallasDi Posted August 13, 2012 #26 Share Posted August 13, 2012 The last I knew, citizens from the US and Canada could be in Mexico for up to 72 hours without a Visa . . . I don't know about Canadian citizens but I can say for sure that the authorities in Mexico have never asked me (American citizen) for a Visa or how long I planned to stay. Rare Keith1010 Posted August 13, 2012 #27 Share Posted August 13, 2012 Folks. I really think we have all given the original poster a lot to think about. With that said, I really don't see where folks need to question why someone would want to stay in a hotel, etc. It's a personal choice. We avoid eating off the ship when in port. Others eat off the ship. I can easily say why do you spend all that money for a cruise and eat off the ship. But in the end it's each persons choice how they want to spend their money and their time. If someone wants to stay at a hotel that's their choice too. Keith
