DW got casino offer today for the second time,,Only prob is they are for September and October and she is having surgury this thursday...We booked one on the Valor last January and my mother passed away and we had to cancel..I thought they had scaled back casino offers but guess they are coming back....Dennis

I've heard that to be rated at blackjack/craps you have to be betting $25 or more...I love playing craps and it's almost made me give up blackjack...But if I lose at craps I usually go to the blackjack tables and win it back....Dennis

Thanks for posting this. I did not receive a card in the mail but when I logged into my Carnival account I had a casino offer. It was for a discounted cruise fare. I called Carnival and I am able to submit the price protection form since I initially booked Easy Saver.

Can anyone tell me how to check for special offers on the website? I can find early saver, sail from Florida, etc., but not the casino offer.

 

Really would appreciate any input. Maybe if I had found this on-line before receiving the mailing, I could have booked.

I got the same offer in the mail yesterday. Only problem, I'm booked for 10/28 on the Victory. Is this typical for them to send out these offers for cruises within a 3 month time frame of receiving the offer?

I also have received the mail offer. It was also listed on the Carnival web site when I went to check out my current booking.

I am booked on the Sept 8th sailing of the Elation out of New Orleans.

I just took advantage of the Casino Special by giving my PVP a call and got upgraded for $20 from a Porthole to Ocean View. Plus I will get Casino credit and some other comps. Normally I am happy with the PH cabins but could not pass this offer up. Good deal all the way around.

Are you logged in as you when you check offers? They are not open to folks not in the Players Club, so if you haven't signed in, then you won't see the casino fares.

I have been waiting for over 2 years to get one of these promotions...I was JUMPING FOR JOY when I opened my little RED Evenlope until......I saw the dates. I thought it would have been for 2013 and not just a few weeks away...DANG IT:mad:

Do you need to book through a PVP to have access to these rates? I can't imagine my boyfriend wouldn't qualify based on the amount he gambled last cruise (multiple hours per day, minimum $25 bets at table games...). My husband and I both got that same offer, I get $250 and he get's $200 plus all the other goodies you mentioned. We went ahead and booked the Splendor so we don't have to fly to Florida or Texas. Woohoo. Ready to start packing. :D
