My 1st PH

I just had to share because I am so excited and nobody here at my work has a clue what I am talking about. I knew my fellow cc's would understand.:D

I have slowly moved up each cruise. Inside, OV, balcony midship, balcony fwd, my first aft next month and now an aft PH.

Congrats! We had our first last year and we are doing it agin in January-once you go suite its hard to go back. What ship?

The Jewel, Western Caribbean. I checked out the boards before booking and decided to go with 10164 since a few posters loved the room and it is on the end so only one neighbor.

We are excited about the perks that will come with it too!!!:D

Congratulations! Some people are happy with a basic cabin, and don't really see the value in the 'extras' but alas, I am NOT one of those people! I love to keep raising the bar on my experience, and every time I do, I love my cruise experience even more. I hope you enjoy every second. Be sure to research and take advantage of every single perk you have available!

I was happy for many cruises in a balcony cabin. Then last year CAS (casinos at sea) comped us a minisuite and the upgrade to ph was just too good to pass up. Now we are in trouble cause we LOVED it and we dont think we can go back!

So how far do you have to go to reach the pinacle of the Garden Villa?;):D

Congrats, you will love it. We had aft PH 10164 on the Pearl to Alaska and it was fabulous for blocking the wind. Also the balcony's are larger than on 8 & 9 (which I'm sure you knew)

The chairs may have changed since then but here's a shot of one side of the balcony

I knew my fellow cruisecritics would understand my excitement!!! Congrats to all of you on your upcoming PH's too!

NYGirl2002 what cabin are you in? We will be in 10164.

TSUMom the posters on the NCL forum are the nicest and most knowledgeable on cruise critic. I keep coming back here several times a day to see what's new.

I booked 10666 which is an aft cabin. It was the last one on Deck 10 which I learned in this forum have the largest balconies.

Once I booked it I was so excited so you should enjoy your anticipation until you leave too!

I know just how excited you are. My first cruise was last December on the Carnival Pride in a Vista Suite (Aft). When looking at cruising to Hawaii, I really perused CC and at first opted for an Aft facing balcony on the POA. I finally relented and went for the Deluxe Penthouse Suite because of all the perks and to reward my DW for putting up with me for the past 15 years. :D

We are both looking forward to cruising the islands and enjoying all the sweet suite perks.

Aloha

CONGRATS!!. As ridiculous as this sounds I discoved the suite life by accident. I wanted to celebrate a big birthday and didnt want to fly so I decided to book a cruise out of NY. The TA from amex booked me into a mini suite and called a few days later to see if I wanted to upgrrade to aft PH suite. The price difference was maybe $100 bucks so I jumped. What a great decision. I didnt know what I would get until i arrived on the ship and it was well worth the extra money. Cagney's for breakie and lunch was the best. Since I was traveling alone I felt very comfy there and not amongst the large crowds.

ENJOY!!

I feel your joy...we have our first PH in 3 more sleeps. I'm ready to burst with excitement because it is a surprise for my DH (he knows we're going on a cruise, but thinks we're in an OV). I can't wait :D:D:D

It's so true, isn't it? When you're really, really, really excited about something that has to do with cruising ~ especially about cruising in an NCL suite ~ there's just nobody who understands that euphoria like the folks here on cc. :D

We worked our way up also, and when we booked that first suite I could hardly contain myself. We've booked suites ever since, because the experience is just so wonderful, relaxing, and special. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
